Fall Color Plaid-inspired Family

One of my favorite families–The Hartsfields!

I will always cherish this family–my first ever real client, when I had just started maybe trying to photograph other people SIX YEARS AGO?!  They took a chance on me, and we’ve all grown a lot over the years!

This year the whole family showed up in plaid shirts!  Plaid seemed to be a very popular choice with my clients this year.  It must be having a moment.  This totally worked out though, and we ended up loving the mix-matched plaid for a fun fall look.

Last year, we scheduled our family session just a bit late, and we had a lovely, but freezing cold session up in the Horse Heaven Hills.  So I’m so happy that this year we did not have to battle the frigid temperatures, and we got to have some fall colors in the photos!

As always, we laughed a ton, got a little goofy, and just had the best time together down at WE Johnson Park, in Richland, Washington.  Some great fall colors down there this year!

I can’t believe their oldest, Raymond, will be a senior next year!  I first photographed him when he was just a little guy!  I’ll save those pictures for later.  This time it felt like a little practice senior session.  Hopefully he’ll come see me next summer for his senior photos!

Jenn and Gregg, as always, it was so much fun to photograph your family again this year.  Thank you for coming back to see me year after year!  It’s so amazing to see your kids grow up in front of my lens.  It goes so fast!!
