Golden Hour Family in the Sunflowers at Middleton Farm

This is my friend Sara!  I’ve known Sara since kindergarten at Sacajawea Elementary, and she was one of my closest friends growing up!  So many good stories here involving beanie babies…HAHA!

Sara and Kyle are new parents to Everleigh, who was a micropreemie at birth, so Sara and Kyle became parents a bit earlier than they were anticipating.  Miss Everleigh is a miracle, and she’s such a joy in their lives.  Sara has done a great job documenting every moment, milestone, and step along Everleigh’s journey into this world, and it was such an honor to photograph their joy at the Middleton Farm’s zinnia and sunflower fields.

Sara brought along her parents, Dave and Linda, and it’s clear these two LOVE being grandparents!  And everyone is just enamored with Everleigh!  I can tell she’s got some spunk–this girl is going places!

Our evening started out a little cloudy, which made for pretty, soft, even light, and then right before the sun set, the clouds parted, and we got the most beautiful glowy light!  Everleigh was happy through the entire session, so we got to have some fun and try some new things in both the sunflowers and the zinnias.  Isn’t she just too cute??

Sara and Kyle, you are incredible parents, and your joy is so evident!  You’ve been down a tough road, and I’m so glad you chose to come out and document the beautiful moments too.  Everleigh is just a joy to everyone who meets her, and it was seriously an honor to get to do so.  When I think about those two little girls who were best friends from kindergarten though childhood, and where we are now, it just makes my heart happy to see the people we are now, and the connection we’ll always have.  Motherhood looks really good on you, friend <3!
