And we’re back! With my first session of 2024, and this was so dreamy!
As we’ve been seeing the past few weeks, early spring weather can really do ANYTHING. One minute it’s sunny and delightful, the next minute a rain cloud rolls through and soaks everything! This was certainly true on this early spring day, but luckily the big rain cloud missed us, and we ended up with a nice evening for photos!
Jorge, Christina, and little Levi are expecting a new baby in May and wanted to capture their little family before the little one’s arrival. For all you expecting Mamas out there, the best time to schedule your maternity session is when you are between 28 and 38 weeks along. It’s when you’re definitely showing, but generally not feeling too uncomfortable yet. Capturing photos during your last few weeks of pregnancy is so special! I know that last trimester can sometimes feel like an eternity, but really, it’s only a few short months of your life. It goes so fast! It is SO amazing what your body does during pregnancy, and I love to capture it so you remember that glow forever!
And Christina was definitely glowing! She looked so beautiful in her flowing white dress! And the boys looked pretty sharp, too, in their button-up shirts. Each client that books with me gets a style guide to help not just with what to wear, but how to prep your family. It’s amazing how wardrobe colors can really affect the feel of the images, but it seems like this family followed the guide to a tee!
Little Levi was such an excellent subject! He adorably smiled for the camera, and had fun playing with his parents. He was even the best little assistant, holding my reflector for me! We just had the best evening together, and had so much fun!
Christina and Jorge, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your amazing little (but growing!) family! I hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful, and you have a smooth delivery. I’m sure you can’t wait to meet baby! I hope these photos will remind you of this amazing time that really does go so fast!
