So, we have had what seems like an unusually chilly spring, here in the Tri-Cities, WA. Remember the record-breaking snowfall we had in April? Yeah….
So scheduling this session was a bit of a juggle around the weather, but we finally landed on a beautiful, yet still slightly chilly evening at the Master Gardener’s Demonstration Gardens, in Kennewick, and it happened to be Mother’s Day! Have you ever visited this garden? I love it SO much! Every time I visit here I see something new—a new flower blooming, a new little garden tucked in an out of the way spot, or a new view. This time the wisteria was blooming (it only blooms in the early spring) and it was SO beautiful! The flowers this day were just starting to pop out. We had some beautiful lilac and iris clusters, and the other plants were looking fresh, new, and green. With the beautiful golden-hour light, we made magic!
Jeni and Scott, thank you for your flexibility scheduling this session around the crazy spring weather we have had! I’m so glad we ended up at the gardens when we did! With all the fresh florals around, we forgot for a moment that we actually live in the desert! I had a great time connecting with you and your sweet family. I really enjoyed chatting about the Hulk with Cooper, and Kendle is such a sweetie! Your kids are so fun! Thank you for being my first session of the spring! Happy Mother’s day to you, Jeni!
