It’s so much fun to explore a new location with clients!  Having a session at a flower farm has totally been a dream, so when Jaymee inquired about having her family session at Haven Flower Farm in Kennewick, it was a yes from me!  Haven is a wonderful local flower farm!  If you’re looking for flowers for any occasion, be sure to check them out!

We had a clear evening–not a cloud to be seen, so we had lots and lots of golden light!  We explored the wildflower field first–I think the pictures of the kids here might be my favorites!  Then when the sun got a little lower, we headed out to the rows of flowers for more.  We froliced in the sunflowers, and the zinnias, cozied up to the lisianthus, and got a little wild trying to get the baby to smile!  Good job, Jaymee!!

Jaymee and Jason have six beautiful children, and it was such a pleasure getting to know them, and capture their personalities.  They dressed to impress with the help of my Style Guide, and it was just such a lovely evening in the flowers!  With school starting up, it’s a great time to get portraits of your kids, and something a step up from their traditional school pictures.

Jaymee and Jason, it was an absolute pleasure to work with you!  I know getting a family of 8 ready for photos is an all-day process, and I appreciate your hard work and willingness to get dressed up!  Good luck with a new school year!
