I got to photograph Ella last year in her cap and gown as she was getting ready to graduate from the University of Washington!  Since then, Ella has been working at a local business doing revegetation and environmental restoration throughout Washington State.  It’s a super outdoorsy job!  And this spring she and her boyfriend, Marcus came out to capture their love with a couples mini session.

We had a GORGEOUS late spring evening at Chamna before the desert landscapes turned brown, and Ella wore the perfect butter-colored dress to go with the sage greens and browns. Isn’t she stunning?!

These two were just the best, and it wasn’t long before we relaxed into the poses, cracked some jokes, and had a really fun experience.  And we got a huge variety of images in just 30 minutes!  It’s a great feeling when everything clicks and feels easy, and it feels more like we’re just hanging out together rather than a forced, awkward photo session.  

Ella and Marcus, thanks for making my job seriously easy!  It was hard to take a bad photo of you two!  I can tell just from the images how much you guys enjoy being together and that you share a deep connection.  Thanks for your patience as we rescheduled for windy weather.  We could not have had a better evening in the end!  I hope you guys love these photos, and they they remind you of your beautiful life together.
