A family photo session at my favorite bird watching spot, with binoculars for props!  Say no more!  This was so fun!

Samantha, Dave, and Luna came out for some family photos in November and mentioned that it would mean a lot to them to document their family this year in one of their favorite spots to spend time together– McNary National Wildlife Refuge!  This place is full of accessible walking paths along the Burbank Slough, has a cozy enclosed bird blind right on the water for easy viewing, and every winter hosts thousands of pure white snow geese who come to rest on the water for the winter. 

This was a new place for me to photograph, and it took us a minute to find a beautiful spot with beautiful light, but then we all relaxed, had fun, and shared some laughs.  This family brought a change of outfits which added variety to their final gallery, and both looks looked great with the fall tones on display that day.
