Those fall colors, this year, am I right??

The fall colors this year seemed to last longer than in years past, and it was so beautiful while it lasted!  I guess we got lucky this year with cool but not cold mornings and not a ton of wind and rain and it sure made the color here last!  What a gift!

I didn’t have very many families come see me this fall, but those that did, really got a show of fall colors!

The Wick family were gifted a session by a family member this year, and it was so fun to capture their family this fall at the Chamna Natural Preserve.  It’s not only one of my favorite places to go mountain biking, but it’s one of my favorites for fall photos, and I think you can tell why.  Such beautiful colors all around and the river views in the afternoon sun are just dreamy!

Kennia shared with me that she was a little nervous about photos at the start, but that it turned out to be so fun, and chill, and not stressful at all, and I think I’ve heard that a lot from my clients this year.  I’m so glad they feel well taken care of and can relax into the session and just have fun.  Capturing genuine smiles, giggles, and love is my mission, too, and it’s really where the magic happens!

So if you’ve been on the fence about family photos, and worried it may feel awkward, or stressful, just try it out, and I know we’ll have a lot of fun!
